Ambassador to the shooting sports in the State of Connecticut with directorships in the Connecticut State Rifle & Revolver Association; Nutmeg State Games Shooting Sports Coordinator; Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Junior Director for State of Connecticut; NRA Benefactor Member, Certified Official Referee, Certified Pistol Instructor, and Range Safety Officer; USA Shooting / NRA Advanced Certified Rifle Coach, and National Coach Development Staff; USCCA Coach & Elite Member; and Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Utah Firearms Instructor. Deb has taken her experience from 45+ years of volunteerism in the shooting sports and positions in the corporate and educational field to create a premier recreational public indoor and outdoor shooting range and training facility.
A recent retiree from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), Kyle Overturf served the Environmental Conservative Police for over 32 years. Kyle began his law enforcement career in 1986 as a Conservation Enforcement Officer. Kyle advanced through the ranks, being promoted to Sergeant, later serving as Captain and Commander of the State’s Western and Marine Districts, and then being promoted to Colonel and leading the Environmental Conservation Police as Director until his retirement. Joined Blue Trail Range as General Manager in June 2019.
Retired with 25 years of service with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) as an officer with the Connecticut State Environmental Conservation (EnCon) Police, Joseph Ruggiero performed traditional law enforcement duties as well as enforcing laws aimed at protecting Connecticut’s natural resources and wildlife. During his service with DEEP, Joe received many honors, including the Medal for Meritorious Service and Lifesaving Awards.

Noah is the Head Coach for Blue Trail Range’s Junior Rifle Club team.
Emma is a Coach for Blue Trail Range’s Junior Rifle Club team, which she joined at 9. Attending New Haven College, she also interns at Yale Hospital.
NRA & USCCA Rifle & Pistol Instructor. Mark is a Volunteer Firefighter, avid firearms enthusiast, and has been shooting and teaching for over a decade. You can find him at the range almost every weekend teaching a Basic Pistol Safety Classes.
Alex works part-time in the Gun Store as a Sales Assoc.
Jill is not new to shooting. She has been shooting for years, but just recently became an Instructor. Look for Jill in the Gun Store.
Mark has been a firearms expert for over 12 year. His interests include guns, shooting, fishing, antique engines, and tractors. He has a wife, Jennifer and son, Eric, who graduated from Murray State and fired on his Varsity Rifle Team.
Remington is a four-year varsity letter winner for The Ohio State Buckeye’s Varsity Rifle team. He helped shape Ohio State University (OSU) into one of the top rifle programs in the country. The two-time All-American led OSU to its second NCAA Tournament appearance during his tenure and earned second team NRA All-America honors in both the smallbore and air rifle and was part of the Buckeyes 2013 Western Intercollegiate Conference Championship. Lyman is a three-time OSU Scholar-Athlete and College Rifle Coaches Association Academic All-American. A former Bucks Go Pro Intern, he graduated with a degree in finance in 2016 and is the current owner of http://reafcorealestate.com. He lives in Columbus with his wife, Ellen, and dog, Nicky. In his free time, Remington likes to play video games and invest in small multifamily real estate.
Garth is an NRA Certified Pistol & Rifle Instructor and Range Safety Officer. He is a skeet, trap, and steel plate competitor. Member of the Guilford Sportsmen’s Association and New Haven Sportsman’s Club. Active in youth training programs; working with scout troops and qualifying Sea Cadets. Firearms collector. He enthusiastically tracks the current firearms shooting trends thru literature and conversations with other shooters at events. The most interesting fact about Garth is that he reloads every caliber and gauge that he shoots.
