Class includes range time, NRA required course materials, generally a visit from an attorney detailing local, state, and federal gun laws, and paperwork that will help you start the process of applying for a State Eligibility Certificate to Purchase Long Guns (for purchasing long guns and ammunition). All shooters who complete the course will leave with the marksmanship skills to shoot safely and accurately. Bring a photo ID and a pencil with an eraser with you and arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class to complete registration. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages are available for a nominal fee in the Blue Trail Range Café.

This course also meets the training requirements to apply for the Connecticut State Pistol Permit to Carry Pistols and Revolvers.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be sent by email to training@www.bluetrailrange.com at least 48 hours before the course. There is a $25 paperwork re-processing fee for no shows or cancellations. No refunds and classes are non-transferable.
