
For the first time since 1991, The Ohio State University (OSU) Rifle Team will be headed to the NCAA Rifle Championships and their five-person team includes BLUE TRAIL RANGE’S own Remington Perry Lyman of Meriden.
The NCAA Men’s and Women’s Rifle Committee announced the eight teams and eight individual competitors for the 2016 NCAA Rifle Championships on 2/25/2016. The University of Akron is hosting the championships on March 9-12. The eight teams participating are Air Force, Alaska Fairbanks, Kentucky, Murray State, Nebraska, The Ohio State University, Texas Christian, and West Virginia.
In the NCAA qualifier match, the OSU Buckeyes, for the fourth time in their season, broke the team aggregate record. When added to their NCAA three-score season average of 4682.33, the team posted a total score of 9367.33 which is seventh-best in the country.
